We're temporarily adjusting store hours to better serve customers and communities in response to COVID-19. Please check your local store for the most current operating hours.

What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Received the wrong paint color TWICE. Employees that work in the paint department do not know what they are doing. They are making waste my time and money on the wrong products all because they don’t confirm which color it is that I want. I am so disappointed in the customer service at this store.

Okay, so you are in SELF CHECKOUT. Your items are in the back of the cart. As you scan them you move them to the front of the cart. HD employee ask if you need help. You say No Thank you. HD employee sticks their hand in your cart and starts moving items around and mixes up what you have scanned against what hasn't been scanned.. You ask them to STOP and explain what they are doing. HD employee responds "I'm just doing my job. I don't come into your house and tell you what to do, you don't come into mine and tell me what to do." then walks off. First, the HD employee violated my 6 feet of space. Second, there was no reason for their hands to be in my cart. If I didn't need the items in the cart, I would have walked out and went to another store. I phoned the store after I returned home and asked for a Mgr. He was at lunch and hasn't returned a phone call. Doubt if they will.

I go to Home Depot several times a week and the Peachtrree City store is consistently messy and dirty. The employees are friendly enough but for me the mess really ruins the shopping experience. For a better experience drive the 10 miles east or west to the Fayetteville or Newnan stores.

During the pandemic, don't expect to order something on-line to save time. There are two lines to enter the store, one for regular customers, the other for returns and order pick-up. The regular customer's line moves swiftly, while the other line is extremely slow, because the returns / order pick up desks are poorly manned and in a state of confusion. Check-out agents have to run to fulfill the order while customers wait.

My visit to the Home Depot was to get 15 gallons of paint. I have been rebuilding approximately 400 ft of fence and need to re-stain entire fence. I used the Behr Premium Solid Stain in 2014 when I initially stained fence and after extensive repair, fence was 17 years old and quite weathered, it is in need of stain. The staff person, Tasha was extremely helpful and the Behr rep was onsite and very helpful. I could not have asked for a better experience particularly in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
