Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale in 2026?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you're looking for. Don't forget to check out our patio furniture, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

Is there a tool sale for Memorial Day?

Get ready to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major items you want to save on: grills, patio furniture, outdoor power equipment, appliances, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to shop for bargains from May 14–27, 2026, with our mobile app or in person at your local store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is set for springtime temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. If water gets in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that could let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this goalie game. Constructing a small soccer game is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This fun kids' project is happening on 6/6/2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
