Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

Start shopping for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4th to 24th in-store or online, and you can save on garage storage, generators, riding mowers, outdoor power equipment, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on everything he can't wait to receive.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Be confident your home is set for relentless summer heat by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this toy go-kart. Constructing a kid-sized wooden toy with wheels is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. This cute kids' project is happening on July 4, 2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
