What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.

Excellent Service - well stocked - great value for the money
Very pleased with locating a lighting fixture to replace one which got smashed ! Had priced similar fixture at a rival big box store and found the quality and price at Home Depot was much better. Thank you Home Depot !

Beginning a major home improvement project. Sales associate, Julie, was knowledgeable, proactive and generally helpful answering questions and signing us up for relevant programs. Wasn't sure we wanted to partner with Home Depot vs the local building supply company, but based on our initial visit we will use Home Depot where possible.

Great service.
I was quite lost in the vastness of the store and I was in a rush. Fortunately there were store assistants in almost every aisle that it took very little time for me to find what I needed. Their self service checkout machines were a great help and I was on my way quicker than I expected.

Terrific Associate
I had to order shingles and roofing materials that I am not very knowledgeable about. The associate at the Pro Desk at the Somersworth, NH store was patient, friendly and very experienced in helping me to order the materials that I needed and in arranging the details because it was a special order. She also called to arrange the special financing I was seeking. She called me the next day to let me know the order would take 2 weeks before delivery and to be sure I still wanted to place the order or to change it. She made what I thought might be a difficult task much easier. No matter how nice a store is ( and I think Home Depot is a nice store) it is always the associates that make my contact with the store a nice experience or not.

Great help when you need it
We drive approximately 20 miles to get to the store. We check on-line before we go to make sure it has what we are looking for. We have made this trip dozens of times and have always had a pleasant experience. The other great feature is the website which is much easier to surf than other sites.
