What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

The manager Andrew and store associate Sherri went above and beyond for me. I ordered a food pantry online and it was delivered damaged. We were unable to reach the maker of the item to order a new part and so the two of them handled my situation personally, professionally and swiftly. I went from being worried and stressed and hesitant to ever order online again to 1000% satisfied and relieved. They helped me resolve my problem with pure ingenuity. I felt totally cared for and Not only would I order from this store again I would recommend everyone I know to do shop here. Every employee I came across was very kind and the store was safe and clean. Thank you guy's so much for everything you have done. I truly could not be more happy or satisfied.

The Spanish Springs Store had the only ECHO leaf blower/vacuum in the area that I wanted. Sam from the Service Dept. physically checked and held the unit at the Service Dept. until I could arrive there which I did and purchased the unit.

Customer service is key when flooring installs or appliance deliveries don’t go “as planned”. The Associates and Store managers were friendly and helpful. I appreciated their extra efforts. Thank you to Andrew, Ivan, Ron, Gretchen, Myra, Ally, and Cindy (EOS) for helping me get my LVP flooring, custom vanity, and 3 appliances ordered, installed and delivered. Despite manufacturer’s stock issues this home remodel is almost complete. Also Clint Ott at Romanoff did a fantastic job on the flooring install. One more dishwasher delivery left and this remodel will be done!
