I’m in this location a few times a day on the weekends as a new homeowner. The woman at self checkout made a snide remark to me and then proceeded to pull my cart away from me and physically check and count all of my items. She then demanded to see my receipt afterwards. I understand loss prevention is a concern, but employees should not be trained to treat honest paying customers as criminals. Separately, I ordered a patio set last week with scheduled delivery. I took the day off and received a notification it was arriving that day. No call, no show. The order was cancelled with zero communication.

Went to get help with non standard tricky install and needed special hardware and met a great employee who spent the time to understand the issue and come up with the solution. When I got home, we were done in half the time I thought it would take!

Staff is always helpful when they can be, and if they don't have the answer someone there always can help.

I was happy to see that staff went above and beyond to help me

The associates in this store are very attentive. They proactively try to help customers in the store. This is one the best Home Depots I have been to

Went looking for paint I was looking a bit lost until Angela come to my rescue she made it easy and informed me on the products I was purchasing she was super helpful thanks Angela for making personal fun and easy.

Recently bought a new oven and the salesperson Deborah Allen, was extremely courteous and helpful. The entire process from sales to delivery and installation was above expectations

Went to store with only cash to buy a 9.00 item. There were ony2 registers open that accepted cash and both were backed up with 3-4 customers each. There were 4-6 registers open for card use only. Took 6-7 minutes to wait before I could pay for my one item. There should be more registers open with actual people that accept cash for payment.

The Associates in this store are very friendly and helpful in finding items. The store is clean, neat and orderly.

Everyone is usually very friendly (the younger ones not so much and dont usually seem knowledgeable) cant stand hearing thats not my department without calling proper person for help.. other than that by far it has best lay out everything is very easy to find, they dont have random things in random isles. More cashiers would be helpful. But by far this is my favorite home depot ( and ive been to most in ct from hartford to norwalk)

This store was very clean. Everyone that I met from the greeter, to the cashier, to Erika who helped me out when I was wandering around looking like a lost puppy were super friendly. I needed some assistance and I felt like Erika actually cared. She asked me important questions about my painting project and we were able to find the right products that worked for me. As a woman going into a big hardware store, sometimes I feel invisible. She made me feel seen and I really appreciated that. I will be back.

I went into Home Depot to contemplate updating my home flooring. The process was easy to setup my measurements and quick - the specialist would be coming the next day. My measurements were ready the day after that and the store employee who setup my measurement called to check in about proceeding with my order. When I returned to this particular branch to complete my order, there were some missing store items that proved difficult. Associate Tim R to the rescue - he found me an alternate option to fulfill the void and helped me finalize my dream floor. I will definitely be returning to this store for my future homeowner needs and recommending it to my friends and family.

I never spent more than 10 minutes in this store. Everything is easy to find, quick process. The employees know what I needed without even asking.

Angela in the painting department is beyond fantastic. She is always friendly , efficient and willing to help . She’s extremely patient and takes the time to explain any questions you may have - and as a woman, I have a lot about painting cement. Lol

Everybody in that store is so helpful. They made my visit a pleasant one. 10/10 would recommend that store to all of my family and friends.

Went to buy flowers. Very hot day. Salesperson did not acknowledge me at cash register. I said hello, asked how she was. She responds “hot!” Only other thing she says to me is “here you go” when handing me receipt. It’s hot. It’s retail. I’ve done it. I get it. But a little courtesy goes a long way.

I would simply like to say that the staff at this home depot store and the availability of products has made life at home more manageable.

Really like the store on site help right there Awesome job too bad they do not have the bell like the Fairfield Ct store to ring the bell if all went well I ring that bell everytime I go there and would ring it for the 1 in Stratford too. Thanks guys and they put the deep freezer in the van for me too. thanks

We have been going to the Stratford store for over 17 years and find the staff very attentive and helpful. We always enjoy our "outings " at this store.
