If you are a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. Great staff and service. Impressive that whoever I asked in the store about an item could direct me to the location even if it was not in their department. Uncommon requests were immediately recognized by associates which prevented me from purchasing an incorrect item.

Great store experience
We needed to return 3 composite deck boards, one 20 ft. long and two 16 ft. long. Called store for help, they decided to have delivery truck stop and pick up boards on it's return to store. Pickup location approx. one mile from store. Store person came to pickup location, wrapped up boards, moved to D/W. Home Depot truck called 10 minutes b/4 arriving, picked up boards and returned them to HD store, no charge. Store return person was friendly and very helpful. What a pleasant experience for a 81 yr. old costumer.

Brandon (Flooring Specialist) was easy to work with ... he quickly realized and understood what I was trying to accomplish and was able to provide a time for inspection as well as a reasonable cost estimate to complete laying the laminate floor that I started a long time ago.
Wayne (Returns) took the time to research my purchasing history to identify when I had purchased the laminate flooring material from the Home Depot and provided me with a proof of purchase that Brandon suggested that I locate.
Together these two professionals enhanced my experience at Home Depot and I look forward to shopping there in the future.

I was helped tonight by James who works in the mill dept. I had somewhat of an emergency, as I'm having a new washer delivered and set up tomorrow, and in taking the old one out, I broke the pipe off that the water drains out of. As soon as I showed him the pics of the setup, he knew it was not up to code (to my surprise) .and he was at first at a loss as to how to fix my problem, but he was very determined to help me. James was able to figure out how I could get my pipe problem solved, and even put some of the pieces together and explained in very easy to understand steps how to put it all together when I got home. He was very nice, friendly and I felt like a valued customer. I feel he went above and beyond to provide great customer service!!!
