MR SMITH IN APPLIANCES WAS VERY PERSONAL YET SO PERSONAL. TWO EMPLOYEES WERE CONSTANTLY WIPING DOWN THE APPLIANCES. VERY IMPRESSIVE UNDER THE CONDITIONS(COVID19) WE ARE LIVING IN.
Every worker greeted me (some twice) and asked if needed help. In spite of the current pandemic, they were all very excited to be there and to help. Alvira, Angelina, Maria (forgot the specialist's name) were great!!
I purchased a little over $3000 of lumber last Tuesday and I was told I would get the lumber delivered on Saturday my client called me and said it was not delivered so I called Monday to see what was going on and was told that my delivery was moved to Thursday and today Thursday I get a phone call that said that the delivery was denied by the driver and that they would have to move my delivery to next Tuesday keep in mind I have already move the drop off for delivery with my client twice by now. Small businesses like me that care about their clients and I also care about our reputation because recommendations it would give us small businesses more work and what makes me more mad is that I called the corporate office and they told me The same thing that the store that they don’t control their delivery company so after they had me on the phone for around 1 hour they just washed their hands and said that there is nothing they can do so basically at this point I cannot cancel the material because it is Thursday and I have a crew scheduled to work on that project for Saturday I cannot cancel an order from a local lumberyard company they would never be able to take my Lumer next day so I am told by the store manager that I can go pick up the material if I want to and that they will give me $50 which I think is a slap in the face after I have spent From $18-20,000 in that company in just last year and they don’t even rent a trailer for that amount. I usually don’t go out my way to do this kind of things but I thought I would put it out there since apparently corporate office doesn’t care that small business like mine gets jobs from recommendations and this “sad experience could have cost me thousands of dollars because if I don’t have a happy client he/she won’t be recommending me

Kim is a long haired male who gave me outstanding customer service. Some of the employees didn’t see me. Walked right by me. Made eye contact with me. Still didn’t see me. Kim seen my concern and addressed the issue. Look for Kim when you travel to the Home Depot. He’s extremely attentive.
