Do not recommend
When we opened this package we could see that the wood was moist and had traces of little fungus growing on it. The wood would not light on its own unless you added a lighter starter. The wood would not stay on unless we kept adding lighter fluid. Does not stay on at all. Woood doesn't seem to be properly treated. Will not be buying this product again.

Only wood I prefer
This is the only wood that I can count on to actually burn. I’ll buy a pack or two of other wood but usually buy about 5 plus packs of this and mix the two (mostly this wood). Never let down.

I need to buy wood at a firewood lot
I was desperate to get wood for my fireplace in my home. This was literally 4 pieces of wood. I bought 4 stacks maybe 2 out of the 4 had 5 pieces of wood in them. That is like $1.37 piece of wood not counting tax. Also the wood burns fast and didnt last but a few hours for all 4 stacks. it was sad. The next day i drove around and found some places that sell just wood and even deliver it.

instant fire!
Can’t account for the negative reviews here; there is a lot of popping going on as one reviewer noted, but that’s part of a fireplace ambiance, is it not? And I’ve never started a fire in the fireplace as quickly as I did with this bundle! I placed a single firestick at the bottom that I normally start my charcoal with in our Weber grill and boom! A roaring fire! The picture here is just a few minutes after lighting the firestick. We’ll use these in our fire pit as well. Will just have to see see how long they burn now. Hopefully it won’t be like trees themselves, the fastest growing always have the shortest lifespan.

Hard to light and snaps and pops an excessive amount of times. Doesn’t burn long at all used up 3 stacks in about 2 hours waste of money
