Q:Is there markings on the outside as to the oz ? I need 1 qt and 2 qt markings.

A:  No, there are no markings. However, you can measure it out and make your own markings! I just love the fact it is light and plastic and use it almost every day!

    A:  No markings. This is made in Germany and holds 1.2 liters or 1.3 quarts: not even close to holding 2 quarts. You'll need a larger capacity watering can.
