AnswersIs this a #6 wood screw? If not, what screw # is it? Need this info to properly drill pilot holes.

AnswerYou do not need to know the screw # to properly drill pilot holes. If drilling a through hole simple find your drill bit with a slightly larger diameter than the threads but smaller than the head of the screw. For regular pilot holes choose a drill bit that is the same size as the shaft of the screw minus the threads. Holding the drill bit parallel to the screw you should see threads off the screw on bith sides of the drill bit.
