I would not used this particular product for a fence. It's 1/4 inch thick and prone to split. It is for interior walls. They supposed to be glued with panel glue and fastened with finish nails 18ga. Most important, it doesn't seem to be a cedar. It is sort of fir or far relative to cedar. The smell is not a cedar scent. If you look at closer you will see a sort white crystallizing touch of powder sprinkled over those planks. Prolly that's what supposed to give the scent, or who knows what the purpose of it is. What am saying here is I don't believe it would withstand exterior conditions.
