            This pop up drain was very easy to install. Did not need plumbers putty or tools. There were no leaks after hand tightening. The design was perfect for replacing the standard drain set up that corrodes and leaks after only 6 months and which requires tools and several tries to make leak proof. The bronze color completely matched the faucet color. I bought a second one for the other sink even though it wasn’t leaking yet.

            Be sure to look at the directions online & not just what is in the box!!
            This drain goes with the sink we already had & it needed replacing. A renter broke it or it was the pop up mechanism, not sure. 2 things that annoyed us, there are directions on the HD website that were not in the box which would have been really helpful because the drawing that comes in the box is deceiving & you'll think the 2nd gasket is on upside down & it's not. We ruined the first one because we flipped it over & had to reorder the whole thing. Also part of the metal is pretty weak and cracked. This may have happened because the gasket was on upside down & we were trying hard to tighten it all. All in all it's a nice piece they just need to put the directions that are online in the box.
