Yes it should work in an insulated outside pump house.
I don't believe this portable heater contains teflon.
I've also had one for couple months. It only has one fan speed. I think hi and low are for the heat levels.
Yes. It’s not that big, a little larger than a toaster oven.
Don’t. It’s absolutely a needed safety requirement
I don't know in terms of square feet but I can tell you from my own experience that it works great in a bedroom but when I tried it in a large family room, it was not very effective. So I would recommend it for small rooms but not large rooms.
No they do not.
Electric
Yes, it does get hot to the touch. Not hot enough to literally need medical aid, but ya, you really want to try to avoid touching the front. If you do touch it briefly, it is not hot enough to create burns. It is just hot.
You only need a 1-Walt outlet. The heater is rated for 1500 Walts, but they are cereal, oops serial Walts, not parallel. Only 1 Walt is burned at a time. Walts burn efficiently, so they make good fuel for narcissists who insist on making you light yourself on fire to keep them warm. By the way, my dear Chruck, you have been caught cheating. You are not allowed to use the same topic as both a question and an answer to another question. Busted! :-)
