1-Compartment Pegboard Towel Small Parts Organizer

Such a handy solution to a problem most people have in the shop - where are the paper towels? You can ensure they are at your workspace and easy to grab. Usually they end up just sitting around, or when I can't find it I'll just grab a new one. Many times in my garage there have been two or rolls of paper towels somewhere. Now they're with my tools and paint, in an easy to see location. Installation: Very easy. You need a width of 14 peg holes to accommodate a roll of paper towels. It can be installed vertically or horizontally. You just squeeze the sides (which retracts the pegs slightly) and push it in. Put the paper towel roll on, line up the other side, and push that in. To remove them, squeeze and pull out. Cons - it was a bit too big for my hands to squeeze. I feel if it were a bit smaller (maybe 3x3 pegs, rather than 4x4 pegs) it would be more handheld sized, so that you can install it with one hand. Also regarding the size, I thought 4x4 on each side was an excessive amount of pegs to hold something as lightweight as a paper towel roll. I think 3x3 would have made it more versatile as to where it could be installed.

I need to file this peg board paper towel holder under “C” for clever. Most of my work area is covered with peg board, but I never thought that you could mount rolls of paper towel to them. Very nice product by Husky. I picked out a high spot on the peg board, mounted one side and it locked into place. Did the same with the other side and now I have a roll of towel handy where and when needed.

This Husky Paper Towel Holder fits perfectly into standard pegboard. The spring-loaded outer pegs hold it securely in place. Squeeze the handles to install into the pegboard, release them to lock the holder in place. Squeeze them again to easily to remove one holder to replace a roll of towels. I wanted to mount mine on a metal work bench with a metal pegboard back. The holes in the metal pegboard were too small but that problem was solved in less than 5 minutes with a drill and a properly sized drill bit. The towel holder securely holds my paper towels and now they're up and out of the way. Much more convenient than just having a roll of towels laying on the workbench. This is one of those items that installs easily, it's convenient and it's easy to remove if you decide to relocate it. I like it.

I'm a guy that loves gadgets. Whoever thought this up is very creative. I like that too. It looks really good. It stays in the pegboard pretty well too. The 3rd and 4th photos are of me depressing the buttons on the sides. One shows with the buttons pushed and the other is released. The grey pegs that look like hooks draw in to wards the center with it pushed. The black ones do not move. Once the buttons are released, the hooks release and hook to the back of the pegboard holes. It is plastic and looks to be able to last a long time. I don't know how many removals and re installations the release mechanism will endure. It really is a brilliant invention but there's room for improvement. Now for the low score. You have to remove one side to remove the old paper roll and install the new one. The posts coming out of the 2 sides could have been shorter so I wouldn't have to remove/replace one side after every roll is used. The other thing is that the posts should be a larger diameter to properly fit the roll. It's less than half the diameter of the roll. The problem is that the paper towels unroll themselves with a light breeze. I walked to my garage and the wind was blowing a bit. About 10' of the roll was out the door. Overall it's a really cool gadget. Unfortunately there is room for improvement. I got it and I'll use it but I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends or to you

My peg board is located on the back of a work bench which makes it a little loose. I could not push the towel holder onto the peg board without ripping the peg board off of the work bench. I had a different holder mounted on the same peg board and that one went easily and it lasted for about ten years. When it finally broke I could not find it again so I bought the Husky which I have returned.

Works nicely on 2 out of 3 of my pegboards. Thought this was a great idea to add to my garage. Specifically I am using it on a wheeled Husky cart that I like to do home-brewing on. I have a role of shop towels on it and its sturdy enough for me to just yank on. The cart I am using it on has a metal pegboard that I have this connected to. When I tried it on a particle board pegboard I picked up ages ago, it worked great. A 3rd pegboard I tried that I had in the garage had holes that were too small. I probably could have forced it or made the holes bigger but decided it wasn't going to live there, so I didn't want to make the changes. The 2 ends have grey tabs that you squeeze in and this makes the outside pegs tilt inwards. When released they expand outwards and they have little notches that let them grab hold of the pegboard to secure it. They do have some play on the wall. Its not perfect, but that would be impossible because every pegboard is slightly different. But the key is it holds up to stresses put on it. I can pull hard on the towels and not have it or the towels pop off.

After a while, every time getting a paper towel, the holder would just fall off the peg board. Bad design.

Absolute junk!! WILL NOT STAY IN PEGBOARD!!

Finally the work towels are off the bench! Oh, sure, could have bought a traditional towel holder, but I like the peg-board option to move it around if needed (like rearranging the tools on the peg board). Don't like having to remove the whole left side unit to refill towels...would rather the left "dowel" was removable to change out, but it works OK.
