AnswersYou are correct it is confusing. The insulation board I am using is 1" thick to either way these boards won't be thick enough. These companies continue to skimp. Looks like i will have to add screen molding to these to make them thick enough. If there is another option - other than planing - I'd love to hear it. Space is critical so I can't use anything over 1".

Worked for blanket ladder

I originally bought the wood for a kitchen project but once I cut it to size and realized it's not really 2" but 1.5" I couldn't use it so...i repurposed it into a blanket ladder! These retail for a ridiculous amount of money and if seen some diy will paint sticks (yes, paint sticks) but this was even cheaper and worked out perfectly. You do need to rumage through the entire pile but after some sanding it was awesome.
Boards were a little warped but for the price I cant complain they worked perfect for my project.

HD lumber has gotten beyond terrible. At best one piece in 20 is usable. The rest is literal garbage. I swear this is where the wood for hockey sticks comes from.
