The wood was great I used them to stretch canvas for painting and they were easy to work with the wood was dry not wet and out of the 14 strip boards that I bought only 2 were slightly bent at the ends so. I end up making 1=40x45 canvas 2=26x30 canvas 5 =20x25 canvas 4 =16x20 canvas for painting and they glued very well with Gorilia wood glue and wood screw and they held perfect.. I plan to but more to make more canvas and also a drying rack

About 1/8” shy of the stated 3/4”
Bought 6 bundles. Started furring out and came up short everywhere. I found they are all consistently 1/8 shy of 3/4. Each stick is 16-20% short of material. This is KD, the absolute most it should shrink is 8%, most about 4%, not 16-20%. This is actually criminal. Joke is on me for spending good money at Home Depot.

      Worked well for me
I used this to create a headboard and it turned out great. I did not like that some were not straight but I made it work either way. It’s not too noticeable, but straight would’ve been better

I bought a $1.58 piece of furring strip. Not a $2.58 "finished" pine "picket". All the pieces in the pile only had 3 good sides but this is exactly what these inexpensive strips are for! I needed a "spacer" that will be covered and scrap wood would have worked if I had the right size but I did not. I got EXACTLY what I needed for a reasonable price and I am VERY happy! I rated Average as the strips were simply strips and not raw wood p[ieces and not Grade A lumber. Honestly marked and honestly priced. Well done HD!

        Don't underestimate the cheap furrings
These work amazing for all types of applications. For as cheap as they are it makes it easy to do all kinds of interesting wood work.

          Are these running for Congress?!
If I were making a longbow or a boomerang these might work, but this is disgraceful! It's seriously just a waste of wood at this point. I understand sometimes boards warp, well here sometimes they're something resembling straight. I had to dig through 4 bundles to find 3 furring strips that weren't looking at racketeering charges. It's honestly absurd how bad these were, and it was well over 90% of them. You have to really try to find trees this crooked. No wonder their lumber is so expensive!
