The board was a mess. spent an hour just jetting it cleaned up to paint.. It appears the board riding next to it had the same problem. primer was not dry before the supplier layed the boards atop of each other.

Having pre-primed boards for exterior work is very cool, but in having them stacked and stored for a week, they became stuck together, to the point that when being pulled apart, sections of wood came with the primer.

These trim boards are garbage!. The wood is not smooth enough for a finished piece. The boards have a wavy pattern on the surface that I don't want to sit there and sand after install. However it is the only type HD offers. When I want a really nice trim board I go to a local (yet inconvenient) lumber yard to buy Selex finish boards. These boards can almost be installed with no painting, that's how nice the finish and quality is. Home Depot used to carry the Selex brand but switched too the lower quality ones they now carry. I would pay the same price or lower for the same board. I'm sure HD and its buying power could get their quality up and make it more convenient for pro customers like me.
