If the wood you purchased has been treated, I believe it would last longer outdoors; however, it should still do very well. Plus, you can always stain or treat it yourself if you so choose. Hope it turns out fantastic.

I’ve done walls and wainscoting that way, but never floors. Don’t know why it wouldn’t work, but pine floors will wear faster than hardwood. I’ve had good success with poly on countertops. Good luck!

Good but pricey
Fairly happy with lumber. Using them as signs and will be staining. These prices have soared over past few years and I’m sure the carbon tax isn’t helping that. That said, I’m amazed at how straight these were. Would buy again. Just wish the cost wasn’t so incredibly high.

Worked for my simple project
I used this to build small organizer shelves for canned goods. Wood was in good shape and held up nicely through pocket screw drilling.

I have used these boards for many things from a desk top in my workshop to shelves in the kitchen. I have even used them to increase the size of window sills. They don't warp or twist whether left raw or sanded and finished.

As always it depends on what you need the wood for, I always pick through the pile carefully to get the flattest and straightest boards I can find and normally don't have a lot of problems doing that. This trip I was buying pine to make a pine bed with a large headboard. I needed 14 of these boards and I needed them flat. I went through a lot of boards to find 14 flat ones. Took them home with the other 30 other boards I bought and stored them in my shop for a week. Out of the 14 of these, two of them twisted during the week bad, none of the rest of the lumber had any twisting. For most things I think the boards would of been ok and I can even as bad as they are find a use for them, but for this bed, I'm on my way to the store to get a couple more boards. Price is right and the boards will stain nicely.
