A:Â This product is typically attached to the wall framing member horizontally where the exterior wall meets the foundation. The stucco, wood or veneer siding is applied over the Sill Screed. This allows moisture developing behind the siding an avenue of drainage.
This diagram is of the Dryvit wall system but illustrates the application of Sill Screed also commonly known as Weep Screed.
