Product Details

This 10 ft. Metal Foundation Sill Screed forms a straight-line stucco stop. It prevents stucco from coming in contact with damp earth. It helps disperse water and meets FHA requirements.
  • Fabricated from hot-dipped galvanized carbon steel
  • 1/2 in. round holes help disperse water
  • 3-1/2 in. nailing flange for use with water-resistant breathable building paper or paper-backed lath

    A:  This product is typically attached to the wall framing member horizontally where the exterior wall meets the foundation. The stucco, wood or veneer siding is applied over the Sill Screed. This allows moisture developing behind the siding an avenue of drainage. This diagram is of the Dryvit wall system but illustrates the application of Sill Screed also commonly known as Weep Screed.
