Beautiful statement light- long assembly
this is a beautiful light and really makes a statement. the other reviews are correct about the assembly. the rods do need to be individually installed and it's really not a group project, so pick a movie or a show to binge and settle in for a few hours of assembly. there are not black and white markings as others have said. I just did a random pattern and it came out beautifully. the actual hanging process is very comparable to other light fixtures. I would definitely buy this again, just one star off for the long assembly

Absolutely gorgeous! You won't be disappointed! It was not difficult to assemble just follow the instructions. I assembled it on my bed and the spikes were fine. Did not damage. Got the specified lights and it gives a nice warm glow. Obssessed!!! I have 10 12 foot ceilings if not more and the longer length is what I went with is perfect! I live in a industrial apartment and I'm obsessed. Took the electrician around 30 to 45 mins. Excuse the unfinished wallpaper I LOVE IT !

This light fixture is stunning! It looks identical to the photo shown online, and was delivered when expected. The only downside (if you’re not into assembly) is that it comes in a box with approximately 250 rods that you need to insert and assemble to complete the fixture. It took about 2 hours, so plan ahead! Once done, the fixture is easy to install and adjustable in height. Bulbs are sold separately. Gorgeous!

I would of gave it a 5-star, except the assembly instructions were absolutely crap! It was a big guessing game on where all 250 metal rods go and the wiring had an extra wire we had to guess at what it was. I even emailed the Y-Decor manufacturer and asked if they had better instructions, but they never replied and I highly doubt our local Home Depot folks would of had a clue how to put it together. The only thing I can say is that once you do figure out how it's to be put together, it gorgeous! It's definitely a focal point, a crowning jewel to our dining area. Supposedly there is an option to order it pre-assembled, but did not see that option. The price was fair for this type of chandelier.

Beautiful- BUT be aware INSTALLATION OMG. You have to put each of those rods in individually. And there are over 250. And they are NOT EASY to screw in. My man felt it in his hands for days after, and he is not a wuss. I did about 40 of them and I couldn't believe it.

The light is pretty
This took me over 3 full hours to screw in 224 rods. Some of the holes were not drilled properly which made it even more tedious. My fingers were callused after finishing. If you choose to purchase this, buy some gloves.
This is heavy in the middle and it It is difficult to store as the rods cannot support the weight.
Overall this is a beautiful product. If you don't want to spend hours screwing in the rods, I would skip this purchase.

It was a project to assemble it, especially because some of the middle holes were a bit too small. However, with a precise positioning and light touch you are able to get most of the rods in. Do not suggest making the holes bigger because it's easy to overdo it and that creates a big problem with loose rods. Many complements on the finished product. Only small objection is the yellow wire shows through the chain. We are happy with it overall.

This light fixture was like birthing a child. The labor was grueling but the outcome was absolutely beautiful and worth it. It literally changed the entire look of my room. We added a dimmer switch and it's just perfect!
