paper thin veneer
Picked up a sheet of this last week. Seemed like a decent product for building floating shelves. I did not realize till sanding that the veneer is paper thin. Wish I'd used something else.

Added stiffness fibers?
Bought a few sheets of this Asian plywood. mostly nice finish, very light weight (no ideas of wood types used for internal plys) they’re using a weird “fiberglass tow” internally for added stiffness? It was in all the sheets I bought.

Really poor quality labeled as "cabinet grade". Quite a few knots and defects, some repaired, some not. I had to get the project going so couldn't bother to return, but would have returned if had more time. Next time I will have to hand pick what I buy. really disappointing.

Bought this to build a few furniture pieces. Their is a smell to it that lasts for a while which is one of the negatives to this product.

I am pleased with this plywood. I used it to build an 8 ft galley kitchen in our DIY adventure van. It soaked up 2 coats of delicious colonial blue and a coat of poly and looks amazing. So far so good. Thank you :-)
