More than just an air fryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great all-in-one cooker! By now everyone has heard the hype about air fryers and how totally life-changing and awesome they are, but this IRIS USA Air Fryer, Convection Toaster Oven with Air-Fryer is a pretty cool " 7 in one" appliance that does a LOT more than just air fry. In fact, I was able to just get rid of my big old toaster oven. I really like the size of this unit too. It's large enough to make a pizza or air fry a larger quantity of food than the typical small air-fryer but it isn't huge and ungainly on the counter either. It bakes, convection cooks, broils, toasts, defrosts, grills and works as an air fryer. (There are settings for an upper and lower heating element as well as air circulation and it comes with instructions about how to use each mode) The air fryer basket lets you cook foods with less oil than regular deep frying. What a lot of people don't tell you is you can also make french-fries and other items in your air fryer with NO OIL (the small amount of oil in most recipes is not necessary) to make it even healthier. It took me a few tries to get the air-frying timing correct in this unit because I'm used to a smaller air-fryer and it does take a little adjusting to get the larger volume of food to the right crispiness but it works great! There is a little learning curve because it uses dials instead of push buttons but the manual makes it clear about how to use the air and cook functions to get the desired outcome. One thing I love about this oven is it's especially good at making homemade pizza but you could also make a frozen pizza in it and it's great for re-heating left over restaurant pizza too! (no more chewy or soggy microwave slices of 'za and also great for the summertime when you don't want to heat the whole house up) I haven't tried it yet for baking sweets but you can also make cakes in it. This unit comes with a grill rack, crumb tray, baking sheet/drip tray, handle to help pull out the basket and an air-fryer basket (which is easy to clean). PROS: compact design, does it all/replaces several appliances; - you can make cakes, grill, roasted veggies, even pizza! The components look good and everything has been really easy to clean. I like that there's a window that lets you view the food as you cook like a toaster oven. CONS: the door seems to not latch with a clear "click" or feel that it is locked. You have to finesse the door a little bit but once you figure it out it's fine.

    Versatile Product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The IRIS countertop oven and air fryer is a great device with lots of options! I was amazed by the space inside of cooking area. The first thing I cooked was air fried chicken wings. The wings came out crispy and golden brown. The clean up was a breeze. There was almost no mess inside the machine other than the drip pans and the air fryer tray. I found the machine to be stylish and something that I would have no problem leaving on the counter where everyone can see it. I also like that the crumb pan slides out for easy cleaning. The one thing I dislike about the machine is that without reading the instructions I wouldn’t know the various settings. I would like to see the settings written out. Overall it is a great machine!

      Great addition to the kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a couple of weeks and so far I really enjoy it. It's an attractive addition to the kitchen and has cooked what I've thrown at it well (so far toast and french fries). I appreciate that it is quicker on french fries than a traditional oven (mostly due to the quicker pre-heat times). It's easy to use, just set a few dials and let it go, and doesn't take up too much room. The only frustrations I had were with the instructions/guidance on using it. The knobs point to icons rather than text, so I didn't find it to be too intuitive as far as which feature to be using when. I also felt some recommended cooking temperatures and times included would have been helpful, and just a better explanation of when to use which part (i.e. drip tray) and in which of the three slots. I found a video online that helped a lot, but would be great to have a similar video tutorial on the product's website. But mild learning curve aside, this is a great addition to the kitchen and I expect I'll be using this quite often!

        great air fryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air fryer/convection toaster oven was very exciting to use. This air fryer/oven can easily replace a microwave and normal oven. It has many uses and is very easy to use. After getting used to it, I realize we won't need the oven as much anymore. As so many different meals can be made using this single machine. I give this a high 10 of 10 of my rating and 5 stars for how it cooks and reheats food. It even has a defrost setting for frozen meats. I thawed 1lb of ground beef in a ridiculously short amount of time. I recommend this air fryer to my friends and family and will probably be rifting one to my mom.

          LOVE LOVE LOVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air fryer is BEYOND my expectation, in a few ways: - Functional: it comes with 7 different functions! My favorite ones are air fry and bake. I use the air fry function to cook most of my meat, fish and poultry, and use the back function for quickly heat up pizza, bread or toast. There's other functions such as grill and defrost, which I don't use often but still do from time to time. So much you can do!! - Easy and quick: It probably makes my cooking at least less of what it used to be, all I need to do is season the food (or not even need to if it is pre-cook like frozen pizza or fries), put them in the oven, set up the temperature and time, there you go! - Size: This is a decent size, way bigger than my previous toaster oven, I had no problem throwing in a pretty big pizza, or a basket of wings and ribs. - Easy to clean: In most cases I use the foil to cover the drip pan but this is just me. Even without, the pan and basket is very easy to clean, just let it set in warm water for a few minutes and rinse with a cloth wiping through. PLUS, the inside of the fryer/oven is so easy to clean, it is widely open so all you need to do is to use a wet paper towel and wipe it after cooking. This makes me extremely happy because I can see my fryer/oven is clean without any greasy oil residue after each cooking, comparing to the bowl shape that it is hard to get it totally cleaned. - Safe: The reason I mention this is that this fryer is totally metal, no plastic. Basket and rack are steel. I still feel worried to heat up plastic to over 400F for my cooking so this does give me that peace mind. - Delicious: I made this to the last but definitely need to mention, the food is so delicious and so far my favorite is wings (made from raw) and ribs! The skin is very crispy and it is juicy inside, beat the best wings I had from a local restaurant for years!! Thank you IRIS!

            Cooks even and great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iris air fryer has exceeded my expectations! I love how quick and fast it heats up and I love the multi function settings. You can set the air fryer temp and set a temp for the convection oven. I would definitely recommend this product and it fits right in with any decor.

Works perfect for every day tasks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a different type of air fryers before and I never thought I needed one like this. The large rectangle surface allowed me to cook the foods I was never able to cook in the bucket-like type of fryer. For example, I love making pizza and waffles in this fryer. It also replaced a toaster and an oven in my everyday life. If you trying to eat a little bit healthier this product is a great tool to replace the regular pan frying with oil.

                Wouldn't heat a pork steak
We picked up the Iris Air Fryer/ Convection oven from Home Depot a few days ago. Anxious to try it out we put a medium serving of frozen french fries in the basket and set the heat to the recommended 380 degrees on Air Fry. for 12 minutes. After 6 minutes the fries weren't even warm. After 12 minutes the fries were not any warmer than they were at 6 minutes. I reset the fryer to the convection oven and fryer setting at 400 degrees. After another 12 miutes they were barely warm all the way through with just a slight tinge of brown on a few of the edges. the fries were soft. The next night I tried pork steak in a baking dish on the rack this time set on the broil function. After 6 minutes the steak was still cool to the touch and the oven was cold. I reset the oven to bake and Air Fry and upped the temperature to 450. After another 12 minutes the bottom was browned but the top was uncooked. When the oven was running the inside light kept dimming and there was a click every three seconds like it was set on defrost. The top element never did work. This morning when I went to pull up the Iris listing it was gone from both the store and online inventory. it certainly did not live up to the good ratings. I would not reccommend it. This was the $189 MODEL

Love having multiple features in one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this first arrived I was concerned with how big it looked. However, once I got it on the counter, it looks like it fits right in. Being able to air fry, convect, broil, toast, etc allows me to part with my toaster oven and air fryer. So even though this fryer is fairly large, it can replace multiple kitchen appliances you may already have that's taking up space. I really wish the settings were labeled with words instead of symbols that I'm supposed to remember. It would also be nice if this was digitally controlled. Overall I'm very pleased with this.

                    Love love love!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love this airfryer! I love the size of it and the fact that it can also be used as a convections toaster oven! It’s big enough to fit a whole rotisserie chicken in it so it’s a better fit for a large family than most air fryers and it’s dual purpose makes it more useful and worth the money you’ll pay for it.
