What zone do these grow in?
Asked by Emma March 11, 2021I purchased at my local HD store (best price there if you can find them in stock). That said I live in Zone 6A and already had a rogue cold snap that dropped the temps well under freezing and the grass looks like it did before the cold snap. They were already too big to cover easily where I planted them. There was no zone indication on the container but the HD rep told me that they only sell what appropriate to this area. I see Miscanthus type grasses growing year after year successfully here so I decided to give it a go as a temporary hedge.

How tall is the plant when it arrives in the 2.5 qt pot?
Asked by eban March 9, 202116" tall and powder dry soil. All 3 plants were dead. I watered and nursed them for 3 weeks with no response whatsoever. Save yourselve time and frustration buy directly from a local nursery. I found better quality and pricing and was able to pick them up the same day and not 2 weeks later
I live in NJ. Can I plant these in March or do I have to wait until it's warmer?
