Yes, order it. I received mine and it was in excellent shape and one I would have picked off the shelf in the garden section! I was impressed and I am sure you will be too!

Full sun is best, though it can tolerate some shade provided it is allowed sun for most of the day.

Is this plant a evergreen? And is it DEER prof?

Confederate jasmine is evergreen in growing zones 8-10 although it must be covered during frost conditions. In colder growing zones, plants should be treated as an annual and/or moved inside during winter. It is deer RESISTANT.

I don’t write many reviews but this one deserved it. We ordered this Jasmine online on May 21 and it arrived via FedEx of delivery today, May 26. Right on time – excellent! As others had commented, this plant came extremely well wrapped and in great condition. The box it came in was about 4 feet tall and the plant itself is about 18 to 24 inches tall above the container. The container itself is wrapped in a plastic bag to keep almost all the dirt in place. The plant is extremely healthy and has white blossoms on it. I like that it comes with a small wooden trellis but the branches are carefully tie wrapped as a group on both the right and left side of the trellis. That is a nice feature because after we put it in the ground, we can cut the tie wraps and then train it to grow up a larger rod iron trellis that we previously bought at Home Depot. All in all, this was a great investment and we will probably buy more plants for home delivery.

Both specimens were well-packed and VERY healthy. They lost a few leaves in shipment, but snapped back from boxed transport quickly. They are in full sun all day long. They're already showing new leaves and have many blooms. My husband just noted the wonderful fragrance out our back door yesterday. :)

So lush and vibrant!
The plant came so vibrant and healthy with some flowers already on it. It was so lush that it bent heavily on the stake it came with. It survived six days shipping because of how well it was packaged. Soil was moist when it arrived. No damage to the plant and the leaves filled the whole container to the top and sought to come out when I opened the package. Very happy with the purchase. So worth it!

Confederate jasmine plant.
Plant arrived safe and sound. Extremely carefully packaged. After few days in the sun I transplanted to a larger pot. Although there are no flowers yet... the plant is thriving and growing.

I ordered 3 of these plants after seeing them advertised with a great price! The plants arrived in pretty good condition. The only concern is one of the plants had some yellow leaves, but hopefully water and getting the plants in the ground within an hour of receipt will take care of that. The plants were packaged very good and I look forward to seeing how they grow next year. I would recommend this product!
