A: The grove at the bottom helps pour the water easier by lifting up where the groove is at when holding the handle. Ours works great & its over 2 years old. We use it most everyday during the summer.
A: As a hand hold while pouring
A: The groove at the bottom of the watering can allows extra leverage when pouring.
A: The groove at the bottom is a second handle to allow you to use two hands when watering to get more leverage to pour the watering can when watering especially when the watering can is full.
A: I don't think so. BTW, it leaks and doesn't solve the purpose.
A: I don't think you can buy them separately.. Don't waste your money on this..Poor design
A: I didn't see anyway to order just the cap. I would just buy another watering can. They are only about $5 at Home Depot.
A: Yes you can get replacement caps. They are sold at my local home Depot
A: Thank you for inquiring about our watering cans. Unfortunately, we do not sell replacement caps.
A: The hole to fill this watering can is located at the top.
A: The fill opening is on the top of the can furthest away from the watering spout.
A: Opening on the top... no cover.
A: It gets filled at the top just behind the handle. It is very easy to fill.
A: It is at the top-back and sets in my garage sink under the faucet. Half full it will water a porch of pots.
