Cypress mulch
It occasionally gets a white fungus in wet weather, but I've used it for years. I like the color and durability.

Nothing like finding a whole glove in your mulch, plus small branches and big pieces of wood. I guess whoever lost their glove, might finally know where it is at. In Florida.

I recently purchased 10 bags of this mulch and had the store personnel load them into my truck. Upon arriving home I had one of my sons unload my truck and spread the mulch amongst the miniature Gardenia plants. it was after all this had been done that I noticed half the material was light in color and the other half very much darker in color. This is unacceptable. No quality control.

I think this Cyprus mulch fully met my expectations. The mulch was clean of foreign matter and provided great coverage. I used this mulch to replace pine needles and I am much happier with its look and ability to stay in place, even in heavy rain.
