Not 2x4 .

You are correct, these boards are advertised as a nominal dimension of 2 in x 4 in x 3 ft but do have an actual dimension of 1.5 in x 3.5 in x 3 ft, as described in the Product Specifications section. It is industry standards to advertise a wood product with its nominal dimensions. Short of 4'
The boards were in pretty good shape overall, but they were all short of 48” by at least 1/4”. I’m used to lumber being over by a bit and had to re-imagine my project to make up the difference

This product is marked as PREMIUM but it is the worst, poorest, lowest grade lumber I have seen in 66 years of building. I purchased two pieces and I am so disappointed. I needed it for tomorrow and have only a very limited amount of time. I ordered online so I wouldn't have to waste time traipsing through the store. Now I have two pieces of firewood and have to go to another store tomorrow to find what I need.
