Prevent Scuffs on Carbon Canoes/Kayaks
I have carbon racing canoes and kayaks. They get scuffed badly by paddles. This is an easy, cheap, non-gooey way to protect expensive boats. See photo of THINK and Epic white boats with black tape.

I nicked a gas pipe in the back yard when...
I nicked a gas pipe in the back yard when putting in a fence post hole. The tape on the pipe was torn loose, but there was no leak (confirmed by gas company). I dug past the pipe by hand and cleaned off the mud. First try did not stick. Second try worked well. I had to roll of a two foot length, reroll it and then wrap the pipe. The tape is thick and appears to make a water tight seal. Hopefully the pipe won.t corrode any time soon.
