NOT KILN DRIED. Maybe you have Kiln Dried 2x6s in other stores, but not mine. They have nice, dry 2x4s at my store, but not 2x6s. What I found in my store was incredibly wet and heavy. Luckily I'll be using it right away so it won't have a chance to twist up.

impressed with the quality
Over the years I have seen the quality of lumber go down to garbage. Not so with the piece of #2 Doug Fir I bought. Actually just picked it up, the employees who put toghether my order picked it and they picked well. I would actually call it #2 & I could not say that about #2 wood for a long time

You are better off if you select the pieces in store than taking what you get by online order.
