Exactly as described. We installed it recessed, but because the way the vent pipe was mounted, the recess opening was only 3 5/8 and it really needs 3 3/4 to sit flush. so I ripped some cherry pieces that matched the cabinet to 3/4 by 3/16 and made a frame that I gorilla glued to the back of the flange. With the stain on the cherry it matches the Espresso finish nicely and gives a clean look. I also found that removing the mirror (the hinges can be unscrewed or unlatched) makes mounting much easier; they should recommend that in the instructions.
It comes with two side mirrors, one of which will get repurposed to put a mirror piece behind the light fixture. the side mirrors are not used in the recess application.

We recessed mounted the cabinet. Substantial cabinet with mirrors inside as well as on the door. Can’t speak to the installation as I had a contractor do it since he was here doing other work.
