Do you need to water the fasting sulfer after you apply it to the lawn.

Does not say on the bag that you need to but I want to be sure.

Will this product kill bugs in lawn?

Without harming pests including a green cheek parrot (they are the smallest of the Parrot family. (the size of a cockatiel) Or the grass?

Yes it will and you can also dust yor animals in the sulfur and it won't hurt them but will keep bugs away

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I agree totally with Medcen regarding this product. "Fast Acting Sulfur", you have to be kidding... I agree totally with Medcen regarding this product. "Fast Acting Sulfur", you have to be kidding. Only 49% of the product is sulfur. And most of the rest of it is a calcium product which you definitely do not want if you are trying to make your soil more acidic. After two weeks the granules are still there. Why this product gets the high ratings it does is beyond me. In my opinion this product is WORTHLESS!!!!! Richard

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what you need when your Ph is 8. Here in Southern California where both the water and the soil have a Ph between 7.5 and 8 this is just what my garden needed. I apply this the same time I put down compost and feed with molasses. This process has made my garden greener. Just look at the cabbage I grew!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I found it. I have ten thousand square ft. of centipede grass that likes to grow in a acid environment of about 4 to 5 on the P.H. scale. This was the easiest and least expensive way to get the job done. worked great. Two bags will move the P.H. about one full number on the scale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works as promised. it worked on trees in the one of the more exclusive parts of town. The noticeable response from the trees was considerably faster than the stuff I was getting at the local hi-end nursery. Getting the pH right enabled the trees to absorb the iron and nitrogen that had been "tied up" in the soil. We were rewarded w/ darker, healthier leaves made more noticeable by the neighbor's foliage on either side.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work This product is only 50% sulfur, the other half is something that they call AST. This is visible when looking at the product. There are gray pellets and yellow pellets. Obviously the yellow pellets are the sulfur. Two months after application, the grey pellets have disappeared but the yellow pellets containing the sulfur are still intact on top of the soil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for lower pH of soil This product does a good job of lowering soil pH and comes in a convient 10,000 sq. ft. coverage bag. I would recommend this product for anyone looking to lower the soil pH.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sulfur I use sulfur to maintain the deep blye in my hydrangea bushes. Home Depot on-line was an efficient method rather than shopping at the mall etc.
