That is what I used it for and cut it to fit my frame. As for price it is cheaper than purchasing from a glass store and as long as it is the size you need or like me can cut glass it works fine. This is too thin for window glass. One note to Home Depot, stock your store shelves. Both times I went to purchase glass, it showed stock online but none were in the bins. The glass was also on the top shelf incorrectly stored flat. It should always be placed on the side of the box for easy access and less breakage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong thickness I went to the store to pick this up and even though online it states that it is .125", in reality it is only 3/32". I had an employee make sure it was the same product, and they confirmed it was. Disappointing.

It looked blemish free, and the size is just right, but once I removed the packaging, one corner is chipped. I will bring it in for exchange this week, and this time I will inspect the piece before purchase.

Was able to cut to desired size with glass cutter purchased at home depot.but not perfect. Luckily you can't see the edge in frame. Thicker and Heavier then expected but worked for my project. Wish home depot offered glass cutting service.
