Questions & Answers

What is the diameter of the BITTOM of the barrel?

Asked by: Clete
If you are asking about the outsidel diameter... 20"... the bottom of the inside is about 18". The planter is a reasonable value but rather light weight compared to a true whisky/wine barrel. I reinforced the bottom with additional cross 2x2 members.

How come the picture look old pretty and when you get to the store the barrels are all ghetto and rusty and dilapidated?

Asked by: Wade
Ding dongs at the store don’t water them so they dry out and start looking cracked and raggedy with the metal rings falling off or loose. Must be watered to keep them looking good and tight ;)
