AnswerThis Lutron dimmer is not on this compatibility list that we have. That doesn't mean it won't work. You could contact Lutron and see if they have tested this LED with that dimmer and they can tell you for sure.

AnswersThis is a bulb, which does not detect motion, however, if you have a light socket base with a motion detector, then you can use this bulb and it is very bright.

AnswersNo. These are simply very good bulbs. For dusk-to-dawn operation you have to install them in a dusk-to-dawn outdoor controller that has a socket or sockets for standard bulbs.
Can this be used in a Flood light mount that does not have a hood or covering? In other words the exterior of the buld WILL get wet when it rains.

This bulb from Sylvania will last about two years of daily use for you... I replaced a bulb I had in a ceiling set of six with a Sylvania of this style... The others were some no name brand (see pic)... The Sylvania burned out in a couple years... The other no names are still working fine (see pic, burned bulb is the Sylvania)... It gives a nice light but you will replace this expensive bulb well before the 20+ years they have in their misleading claim.. I write this review to foster accountability for false claims...

Hello replaced -2- 300 watt halogen rectangular lights with -2- 25 watt Night Chasers.
I replace one at a time over my back deck to see the difference, boy was there. The halogen look like an old incandescent bulb that was well past it's due date.
The LED was white and bright, the Night Chaser has a narrower angle but you wouldn't know it on my back deck. The -2- lights are about 20 feet apart and there was no loss of coverage compare to the -2- halogens.
I had to replace the face plates to mount the Night Chaser (no big deal).
50 watts versus 600 not hard to figure this one out

I bought these and a new motion light fixture to replace a halogen fixture above the pool. Not only does the pool get lit, but just about the entire yard. A nice bright white light across the entire pool and yard. I used to loose the dogs in the shadow of the pool and the lack of the halogen to throw light that far but after installing these the space behind the pool has enough ambient light to see them. Even the shed is lit. I'm very happy so far with the amount of light produced.
I have these on for a couple of days now so this is very initial.

Very bright but won’t fit in deep sockets
Very pleased with brightness and quality, but had to replace the sockets for the bulbs to fit. The neck on these is wider than a standard bulb. The photo is of an older LED bulb alongside this one, showing the difference in thickness. If you have older/deeper sockets, be prepared to replace.

I got this LED light for my front, outside porch. I wanted a bright light as I had been told by my neighbor (who owns a home security business) that having a well lit outside is a great deterrent for security problems.
This is a bright light. A really bright light. It is a 250 watt equivalent at only 26 watts of usage. I will include a picture that shows it (over the benches) as compared to the lighted area over the door (which is lit by a 120 watt equivalen LED light.)
The difference is amazing. My porch is so well lit, I can tell visitors my house is the one with the bright light and they will easily find me. Only problem is that I have to go dust those benches as the light shows every spec!
The light is great and I will be buying more for other areas in my backyard as well.

25-Watt listing on Box, (250-Watt Equivalent) Daylight Reflector PAR38 LED Night Chaser Flood Light Bulb is nothing less than totally amazing for outdoor illumination. I needed a bright hi-intensity lamp for my garage light fixture to illuminate my RV pad and workshop entry as there are no other light fixtures installed elsewhere. This PAR38 lamp is a real problem solver when hi-intensity bright light is need with an incredibly low amount of energy consumption. Aside from the excellent far reaching illumination it provides, it will provide enhanced security from prowlers or uninvited guests entering our driveway or property.

This is a brighter than normal (normal being 150W equiv) LED floodlight that has a 250W equivalence. We use it to illuminate our driveway and it does a great job. Actual wattage is around 25W. It is listed as a floodlight, but the beam, to me, is more narrow, maybe a wide spotlight. I have included some photos but I couldn't get a good photo of the beam coverage. The color is daylight, so very white, maybe a little blue. It seems very well-made and sturdy. It is dimmable and works with our motion sensor that has a "dim until tripped" feature. Do be sure to check whether it will work with your dimmer.

This is a nice light. It is well ventilated to help keep it cool so it will last longer. It is heavy and well built. It is a forty degree light. The beam is tight initially but then spreads out nicely. If you are looking for a light that floods the immediate ground below this is not the one. If you are needing to light up an area that is about a 100 feet off it does it nicely. As you can see in the picture the light does a great job lighting up ans area a little ways off. It is working for me to light up one of the corners of my yard. Only get this light if you are wanting to light up an area a little way off.
