Additional uses.
Hate to disappoint you but I did NOT use this electrical conduit for electrical work. I am on the color guard for our local Veterans Club and we use this conduit as flag poles for our service flags. We just acquired the new Space Force flag and I bought a section of conduit from which I fabricated an 8 ft. flag pole. The material is strong, light enough and easy to work with. Probably would work well for electrical as well.

These are great, strong, straight, light weight pipes that we used for curtain rods in our porch. Was able to do the entire porch for under $30. Quality and value cannot be beat. I was able to cut the pipes to desired lengths using a jigsaw and metal blade, think I could have used a hacksaw. Very easy. they cut clean and fast.

I have been an electrician for over 35 years and I have installed thousands of feet of conduit from 1/2 inch through 5 inch, and I think I may have found one stick of conduit with a problem. I picked up 100 feet of 3/4 inch EMt today and one of the pieces had so much extra galvanizing in it, you would be hard pressed to pull any wire through it. Thankfully some of the galvanizing fell out before the piece was installed. I had to look through each piece to make sure they were clean. I know now that I will have to inspect each piece of EMT to make sure it is clean. I took the bad piece back, and they exchanged it with no problem, hopefully they don't just put in back in the pile for. sale.

1. It is round.
2. It is metal.
3. I was able to put some wires through it.
The quality of the steel appears to be excellent and of an attractive color. I was not able to check for absolute roundness but it appears to be very round, with no dents or depressions in the surface.
This conduit felt good when I carried several pieces of it. It balanced well and made the proper noises when it was placed upon the ground in preparation for working with it. It readily accepted the pipe clamps that were placed around it in the ceiling and it has not moved since it was anchored.
I had no trouble putting a fish tape through it and the wires entered easily and moved smoothly when I pulled them through. That the voice and data circuits function so well is a testament to the quality of the conduit.
Did Allied Tube & Conduit 3/4 in. EMT Conduit meet my expectations? Yes, it did! I would recommend it to anyone who needs to install a metal pipe and fill it with wires.
Allied Tube & Conduit 3/4 in. EMT Conduit would make a terrific Christmas present for that "special someone" on your gift list. Nothing says "Merry Christmas" better than a bundle of metal pipes. Perhaps Allied can provide red and green pipes decorated with holly berries for Christmas giving, along with a suitable gift wrapping.

This is a pretty basic item, but is just what we needed to solve our problem. We hung all new grommet style drapes and hardware in our mobile home to replace the 40 yr old ones that came with the place. On the slider we were unable to put a center support because the rings would then not slide the entire way. Without the center support the curtain sagged. Presto-3/4 inch conduit to the rescue! Slid it right over the entire length of the old rod. Good and strong. It cut with a hacksaw, no problem. The color even matches the others.
