The 27580 version I actually like better (even though it doesn't clamp as well). But these are discontinued.

You can pull the clamp portion out with pliers. They can be released from the 1/2" knockout with a screwdriver or other tool.

These are the best NM connectors (Halex 27515 3/8" (1/2" knockout)) I have found recently that can hold 1 or two NM cables. Upside - they are relatively easy to install and handle up to two NM cables. Downside - you really need channel locks or some tool to press in the clamp portion. It does hold well once in place. The other issue, though, is that you have to be able to push the clamp portion in, so in a tight place that might be difficult. The predecessor, the yellow (27580) duplex connector is now discontinued, but was actually more flexible - but didn't hold as well. (I still liked them better.) If you put 4 of these is close proximity I don't know how you would get the clamp portion installed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from flawed snap in mechanism I bought two 5 packs of these, and realized after slotting then in the knockouts that the snap in piece was impossible to push in. I had to slightly shave the plastic in the cavity to get them in. once in they crimp and hold well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prefered Romex Connector These are my Romex connectors of preference. Easy, quick install. Snap in, with no locknuts to fumble with. Just wish they were stocked in bulk packaging.
