Will this grow in shade

Will this grow in shade
Asked by: mo
Hi Mo. Thank you for your question. The Natchez White Crape Myrtle will do best in full sun and a slightly acid soil. Give regular watering for at least the first three years. https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/23/23b7dbfb-8793-4805-a795-e84df944300c.pdf I live in SoCal about 10 miles from the ocean and need to water my 4 year old Crepe Myrtle at least once a week at least during the hot summer months of July, August and September. I have mine planted in a sandy clay type of soil. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Rick_HD_OC
