A:Â I didn't see option to buy in case. If you have Ocean state Joblot nearby, foam brushes are of better quality there and little cheaper than HD.

Have been using for 5 years and something changed
I have purchased HUNDREDS of these brushes for my small business. Since September 2023, the brushes have been snapping off after one or two swipes. I used to be able to use one brush for 2-3 days of projects. I’m collecting them in a Ziploc bag to return. Absolutely unacceptable. Will have to source from elsewhere

This foam brush kept its spongy qualities for the whole paint job. There is potential for a lot of drips, but if you take your time, then this is the perfect inexpensive yet effective throw away brush. I used it to apply some oil based paints for a weathered door look

These foam brushes are my go to for staining. They’re awesome. I have tried rags and regular brushes and I won’t go back to those anymore. Also very inexpensive.

I purchased these because I saw a friend of mine staining with these at work , so I decided to give it a try. I got me a few different sizes and I’m so glad I did. Staining using these little foam brushes had made staining my projects a lot more easier and way more desirable. The quality is not to good, but they are meant to be used a couple of times then throw away. But they’re very affordable.

Absolute garbage, breaks on first contact with objects.
I use these types of brushes all the time for trim and varnish, I didn't get three swipes before both of them snapped at the base, I'm applying oil to wood with it, not heavy duty paint! I went through two brushes in less then a minute. It's held together with some flimsy brittle 5/16 plastic. I don't press hard, I like to reuse my stain brushes for weeks, but these didn't make it to the first coat of a single board. Hopefully other stores don't use the same distributor of this made in China garbage.

DO NOT BUY the Home Depot generic/house brand. WORST QUALITY EVER. It snaps at the connection with the slightest pressure and after a few minutes of use. We'll replace with a new brush, only to have it happen again shortly after. We're not putting a lot of force on it at all, it is just shoddy construction, probably due to cost-cutting. Other brands we've used can put up with cleaning and a couple of re-uses. This one is not even suitable for one-time use for quick projects, breaks WAY too quickly.
HOME DEPOT—PLEASE CHANGE YOUR SUPPLIER. This product is a complete joke with its terrible quality and therefore USELESS.
