Not sure but the one if the 3 Ms stands for Minnesota.
I didn't "prime" the painted wood surface the tape was being adhered to, I just made sure the area was free of dirt. The tape has worked well on the steps and to date (11-20-19) and there has been no issues with the tape peeling away from the surface.
I must have missed that! I live in South Florida and didn't pay attention what the temperature was when I put it down. I put it on wood which occasionally, quite often, gets wet and it doesn't come up. It may get loose oh, I don't know, but it never comes up and comes off when it dries up it's still there. So I recommend the product
Installed on the running boards on my truck a couple months ago and no problem at all so far.
I don't know if this product will adhere to that type of surface. I applied this tape directly on old wooden basement steps that were painted. The tread tape adhesive is strong and are still secure even when the steps get wet.
You can peel it off. If it does then use goof off
