Part of our Pro Series, the 3M 8511 Respirator with Cool Flow Valve is designed with the pro in mind to help bring you protection and comfort. Our most popular valved disposable respirator, it is equipped with a Cool Flow valve, which helps reduce heat build-up inside the respirator, helping to enhance your comfort during longer jobs. This N95 respirator features Advanced Electrostatic Media that enhances the capture of airborne particles while allowing you to breathe easier. An adjustable M-noseclip helps provide a custom, secure seal. Whether you're hanging drywall or sanding a floor, rely on the trusted protection of the 3M 8511 Respirator with Cool Flow Valve.

The 3m cup mask design is very durable and effective. I use it for all kinds of tasks where dust, dirt or mold are blown about. I like the exhale port on the mask since this greatly extends the filter life. I highly recommend it for and dust environment or fiberglass insulation install job. For extra life try gently prestretching the head bands. Store mask in a zip lock bag between uses.

Great Product - Zero Availability
I've been rotating the same 4 or 5 N95 masks for MONTHS when I used to use maybe two per WEEK! When are companies like 3M going to start producing enough masks so they can be prioritized for workers on the front lines of building and remodeling your houses and offices and not just those on the front lines fighting Covid-19 wherever that is happening. Please watch for mesothelioma and other respiratory illness to spike once this whole Covid-19 thing is over OR start making enough masks to go around PLEASE.

No valves for covid
This product is not intended to be used as a mask in general public. The valves release air that is not filtered. These masks protect solely the wearer and shoulders be reserved for high risk individuals who need protection. Any mask made with a valve is an unacceptable tool to help prevent transmission of any viral or bacterial droplets or aerosols. You are letting all the germs out whenever you exhale. They come out of the valve.

Coronavirus Questioning: This Mask for Coronavirus Use
I use this mask at home. It's great for gardening, etc. BUT I don't believe good for coronavirus protection as the valve would let your exhaled breath out to possibly infect others. Please correct me if I'm wrong or confirm if this is true. Thx

I’m a nurse and my husband is a medic but we can’t have access to buy a N95 mask. This is ridiculous.

Hone Depot has dropped the ball
Everyone should have access to the best possible protection. Not allowing regular consumers to buy these n95 mask further helps to overwhelm the health system due to the fact that if more people were able to the the proper mask, not the mask shift mask that still spread the disease up to 70% then more people will be protected and there would be less sick patients to overwhelm the health systems. People cant get n95 mask, alcohol, lysol or the other necessities to keep safe due to many of these only being available to health care workers, but it's a cycle and due to people not being able to fully protect themselves, they end up in the very health system that everyone is trying to protect. Smdh
