ScotchBlue 24 in. x 30 in. yards. Pre-Taped Painter's Plastic Sheeting with Edge-Lock and Dispenser (Case of 6)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a sample product from company to try out and man was I ever happy happy happy. Needed to paint the bathroom after we took off the 1970's wall paper. Worked great and didn't leave any marks on wall or fixtures that I didn't feel like removing. High quality product from a great company. If you ever need to paint don't use the competition as they will leave you disappointed. Plastic dispenser worked great and never left me hanging for a peace of tape.

Love the overall tape and plastic, BUT it goes from right to left. As a contractor everything goes from left to right. It drives me crazy, and is harder to use the way this is done.

Your product is pretty solid but it definitely needs some tweaks. After using it it really makes me wonder if you guys tested it in the field before you put it on shelves. To begin with the tape is just not quite wide enough. It makes it really tough with such little surface area to always stick properly. I truly believe an extra quarter inch would make all the difference in the world. The other thing that puzzles me and I really don't understand is why when you're first unrolling the plastic down from the tape does it start on the sticky tape side. By designing it this way it makes it so that every time you unwind it the plastic wants to fly off and stick to the tape. If you would flip that design and make the first unroll be on the unsticky side I believe it would make all the difference in the world and painters would never want to use any other product!!! I truly hope you consider these changes before someone else figures it out and takes a Large piece of this market from you.

I couldn't get the cutting edge to stay in the dispenser. When it came out it caused the plastic to get stuck on the tape ruining feet of the product. This happened 3 times until I glued the blade in its place. Very frustrating! I would recommend this, but make sure you take out the blade and glue it in its place or you will end up throwing feet of it away. They must think we have money to burn.

I paint professional and have been trying out all different brands of tape for years. I can honestly say after all the time and money I have spent on products yours is hands downs the best and affordable at that. I have never have to go back and clean up drips or runs. To add some protection for where the spills actually fall in addition to the best tape for painting out there! Perfect. I don't remember when I bought it, but even after being stored in the basement for at least a year, it still works like a champ. Thanks for this great tool!
