Tape Applicator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad i had this on hand. I used this along my baseboards and it worked like a charm. The application was made easy with the roller. Another plus: the tape actually stayed in place for as long as I needed it to (I had a bad experience with another brand tape falling off the wall during painting). I am very pleased and will buy again.

Painter's tape is a necessity when painting walls, trim, etc., but wouldn't it be nice to actually have a device that literally guides your tape in a continuous motion and then cutting with precision before taping your next wall? Well, now you can thanks to the new ScotchBlue Painter's Tape Applicator! It provides a guide when lining walls or trim and even has a soft padded base on the bottom to keep your tape moving for a straight, continuous, and easy motion. It also has rollers that help secure & seal the painter's tape to whatever surface you may be taping. In addition to that, the precise cut you get every time from the sharp blade makes prepping your walls, trim, etc. so much more convenient, quick, and easy! The new 3M ScotchBlue Painter's Tape Applicator cuts prep time for painting in half and I must admit, much neater with my projects!! If you're looking for a more convenient way to prepare for painting, not to mention the significant ease in which to do it, I highly recommend the ScotchBlue Painter's Tape Applicator and added bonus....the applicator even comes with a starter roll of painter's tape from 3M that gives you twenty yards!! What's not to love?!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good item that serves its purpose. It even sticks to wood surfaces (which can be hard for other sorts of tape). I first tried 3M's painters tape years ago and have used it for many things since then. This tape is something you put along the line where you don't want paint to go. It serves as a barrier between where you are painting and where you don't want to paint yet. For those of us (like me) that don't have the most steady of hands anymore this is a really good tool and it makes the painting process go more smoothly. This is especially useful if you have beams or trim. It can protect it while you paint the larger surfaces. It is also useful in painting the trim if you like white walls but just want to add a dash of color here and there.

I needed to paint my bathroom and it had a ton of tricky areas - crown molding, lots of corners, and different edges for virtually every surface. Thankfully, the Painter's Tape Applicator saved the day by saving me a TON of time! I was able to apply painter's tape quickly and neatly, without having to stop, position, and manually cut strips of painter's tape. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to paint quickly yet ensure a professional result!

This tool is a real helper for getting painters tape placed close to the edges. You do have to remember to press the edges into the area you want to keep paint from and watch the roll of tape to ensure it stays against the wall.

Great product! Made taping walls for painting a breeze. Able to tape whole basement in about an hour. Highly recommend!

It is definitely a great product to have if you have to tape off areas to be painted. It is, however a little cheaply made. Would recommend for the price and time saved.
