AnswerA “side strip” pattern nozzle emits from the center of the exterior edge of the pattern. So, using your creative illustration technique: __o__. Your examples would be “center strip” and “end strip” patterns, respectively.
how do you adjust this head ?

Answersnote that the shrub heads come in 90 degrees, 180 degrees etc. i think there is one head that is adjustable 0 to 360 degrees. note also that a particular head has a spray radius of 4 to 30 feet so you have to buy both the right degrees' width of spray 0 to 360 and also the right spray radius 4 to 30 ft. you need both the particular shrub head and also the toro base 570 sprinkler body for each install.
