A: Hello Paula, The two products are different brands. As you mentioned, Model #106039 by ProWood does have a higher retention of MCA (used for protecting the wood), and this is reflected in its warranty, too. Both are treated wood, though, and good products.

A: This lattice is not available in white, but it can be painted. Be sure to first clean the lattice, let it dry completely, and use a weather safe paint.

A: The poorly installed staples we electroplated zinc staples. The stapling machine needs to be adjusted!

A: The staples in this lattice are electroplated. We recommend using stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized fasteners to install this pressure-treated wood lattice.

These panels are better than the cheaper 1/4" slat panels but the stapling of the slats together ...

These panels are better than the cheaper 1/4" slat panels but the stapling of the slats together could use a lot of improvement! The staples are not seated well at all. Lots of messed up staples. I installed seven of these panels and stained them and it came out nice when you look at it from a distance but if you look close you can see what I'm talking about. Not sure where these are made but the quality control is lacking.

Fantastic--the 3/4"p.t. lattice is so much stronger than any I have ever seen; it won't rot, bend or warp; keeps critters out from under my house beautifully.And saved my deck refuge. When I waws building the deck a massive tree fall accident onto my roof, prevented all construction stopped last summer so 42 boards were piled up like match-sticks, broken a/c unit had to be untangled and months of rain on all that ruined my materials, once I replaced everything I made a Lattice-box surround to protect the moved a/c condenser unit and accommodate a replacement one hopefully. It is 5-sided, and lifts right off.

I will need more. As I am replacing a little at a time. I'm old and can only do a little at a time. But did notice that some of the staples were missing or come undone during assembly
