Asked by: wfo
UV is known to discolor PVC. See https://www.heritageplastics.com/technical-bulletins/effect-sunlight-exposure-pvc-pipe-conduit-fittings/. There are methods of painting PVC to mitigate this effect.

What is the PSI rating? I ask because I want to know if I could use this pipe on a CNC w/ a Vacuum pump. For holding down material to the table top.
Asked by: Picktool
Yes. Hold down vacuum pumps typically should not draw down more than -22inHg which equates to 10.8psi of inward pressure force on the pipe. The pipe can handle inward force vacuum much better than pressure. The rubber drain pipe couplings with hose clamps work as well under vacuum but not pressure. Schedule 80 or better yet black ABS pipe looks much better though.
