Q:Could someone tell me the true internal size of these post skirts? Prior answers varie from 4' to 3 5/8" . It's ridiculous I even have to ask. It should be stated in the description.

Large Gap
The trim was made to be used with a post sleeve or a lager post. With a standard 4 x 4 post we were left with a large gap that was too big for even caulk.

Inconsistent sizes.
I bought 14 of these and noticed the first one was a bit loose but nothing anyone else would notice. After opening a few more they just got worse. One had a bigger gap than the gap I was trying to cover in the deck.

Too large!
Incorrect sizing. Very unhappy I spent the time painting these to match my white trim and there is a noticeable gap. Not a good product.

Used this product to make fence post caps by attaching this product to a hand-made cap top. Worked great and this is a well-made product for this purpose.
