These LED light bulbs were packaged very well, such that they could survive a UPS delivery and being dropped. They are a Daylight spectrum 5000K, 40W equivalent @ 420 lumins that draw only 4.5 watts. They are rated as dimmable, however I did not install any on a dimmer to test that function. They give off a very bright white light that makes them seem brighter than the rated lumins. Unlike compact fluorescent yhry come on instantly at full brightness.

These frosted glass filament dimmable LED daylight bulbs are super nice! I don't particularly like the "Edison style filament" bulbs and you can't see the filament at all on these bulbs. They are equivalent to a 40-watt bulb so they are perfect for the small lamps on my bedroom side tables. They are slightly smaller than a "standard" bulb and give off a true white light (daylight). See pics for color difference. My former bulbs had a more yellowish glow. According to the manufacturer, the bulbs last 13.7 years (15,000 hours) and cost about 54 cents per year/bulb. They are suitable for use in enclosed fixtures and are dimmable. They are 420 lumens in brightness. I really like the fact that they allow the true colors of my walls and furniture to show rather than my former bulbs that made everything look more dingy. I highly recommend these bulbs.

Very nice light bulbs! Daylight balanced bulbs are much easier on your eyes, no yellow [from incandescent bulbs] or green [from flourescent bulbs] to give you a headache. These are "frosted", so they give you a softer, better quality of light. Softer light, more reflective, less shadows to deal with. Plus, LED lights use less electricity and have NO appreciable heat build up!

These daylight bulbs are dimmable, and are a good "temperature" if you like a really bright, cooler light. I've attached a picture comparing my older "soft white" bulbs to this daylight bulb. You can see that the soft white is much more yellow in comparison. Ultimately, we like the perceived brightness of these daylight bulbs and I replaced my soft whites.

Wow! Daylight! We can see! That's exactly what we said when we turned them on. These are 40-watt equivalent each (x4) and use only 18 watts total. They are LED and are the same physical size as an incandescent bulb. LED bulbs of the past were heavy. These are just as light in weight as an incandescent. We previously used four 40-watt halogen bulbs in this same area that burned 160 watts (and made the room hot) and we were still frustrated with how dim the room was. We LOVE these bulbs.

LED light bulbs are all I use these days. I am not tech trendy person. I was a bit skeptical about LED light bulbs at the beginning mainly because of the cost of switching. But once I did, I noticed the saving on my monthly electricity bill. These light bulbs come in very well packaged. They feel solid to the touch and cool to the hand. For the price tag I am not complaining.

This 40-Watt equivalent A19 general purpose medium is Frosted glass so it is not harsh to the eyes. The light appearance is 5000K (daylight) and is dimmable. It only uses 4.5 watts compared to your standard 40W. I had to take a double take on the bulb, it look just a standard incandescent bulb. The one’s I purchase before has a plastic on the base not these. The bulbs should last 15,000-hour or 13.7 years based on 3 hours a day. It comes with a 3-year warranty

Frosted glass daylight bulb that gives off a soft glow. It's the standard size bulb and looks like a typical basic bulb, but it's LED. This is a pleasant light for a space where you only need a 40w bulb, like for a nightstand or desk... works great when reading a book. I put it in one of my many 3-level touch lamps. It is dimmable if you need a bulb for that and it's not hot to the touch when you turn it off. I recommend this bulb... LED - Eco-Friendly!

5000K LED frosted daylight bulb is a great bulb but it needs to be used in the right place. The 5000k daylight light give more of a office type or commercial building type light rather than a home living room type light. This light is best for areas where you are wanting to see items as they would appear in the yard or if you need to be exact about colors. This is a medium base, glass globe, frosted bulb that only used 10% of the energy that an old style 60 watt incandescent bulb did. You cannot tell the difference between the old and new Led unless you look real close. I originally thought the globe was plastic but using a hammer and destructive testing it is glass. This is a great bulb but I recommend you think about where you want to use it as it mimics daylight. This bulb is also a little pricier than some other LED bulbs. recommended.

Review of 60-Watt Equivalent A19 Frosted Glass Filament Dimmable LED Light Bulb Daylight (6-Pack) -- Model # FG-03173 Internet #305135549 Store SO SKU #1003154925 ___ This 'Daylight' bulb has a color temperature of 5000K (Cool) so its light has the appearance of being very bright (but bluish) in comparison with 60W warm white LED bulbs (see PHOTO). It's HomeDepot price of $24.27 for 6-pack would be a little over $4 per bulb, which is more expensive than others that Home Depot sells (e.g., Feit Electric - Model # OM60DM/950CA/4 Internet #304116331 Store SKU #1002975949 Store SO SKU #1002932637 , which are about $3 apiece). In comparison, THIS bulb uses 6.5 Watts while the Feit uses 8.8 Watts and THIS bulb has a brightness of only 720 Lumens versus 800 Lumens for the Feit (which correlates to the wattage). However, I downrated THIS bulb because, at the lower wattage & Lumens, one would expect more life -- but THIS bulb is rated for just 13.7 years versus 22.8 years for the less expensive Feit bulb (go figure?) THIS bulb does have positive attributes: it has an All-glass envelope (it doesn't have the white plastic neck that the Feit and other brands often have); its glass is nicely frosted which helps with light diffusion; and it's threaded base is chrome plated which helps to make it easier to screw into and out of the socket; it's base contact is also a chrome plated metal (not solder) which is good.
