what is the circumference of the bulb and is there a way to make it battery powered by adding an attachment of some kind?
Asked by: lexi
Would be a poor choice to battery power for 3 reasons. 1. It requires a fairly high voltage - 120 Volts. That would require 10, 12 Volt batteries wired in series. 2. That would also make it somewhat dangerous in a homemade application. 3. It also consumes 40 Watts of power, which would quickly deplete any reasonably sized battery. Who knows what the actual dimensions are as 2 different specs are given. 1" in diameter and .65" in diameter.

Overview states T – 6.5. Specifications say T – 10. Which is correct?

Asked by: Don
Based on the size of the screw-in base compared to the glass envelope diameter, it looks to be the 6.5 size (.65").
