Product Details

The Felix sandbox features an adjustable roof that raises and lowers with and easy to use crank handle. Two safety bolts keep the roof secure when in the raised position. The roof keeps the sand clean when down and provides protection against sunburn when raised. The sandbox is designed to give playhouse feel. The corners are made from colorful plastic and the wood is treated with a child safe stain. The sand capacity is 5-10 bags.

          A:  It doesn't have a base. We cut a tarp and screwed it into the inside to keep the sand in the sandbox

            A:  Sand goes directly on the ground. Haven't complete the sand box yet so I'm not sure how many bags of sand. Home Depot says 7-10, I purchased 8. Hopefully it all fits.

                    The sandbox is cute but not well made. The upright post was twisted so top does not slide up and down easily. Another part broke during construction and had to be glued. Wish it was made of better materials.
