This curtain rod works well. It is sturdy and doesn’t sag if you use the included support. We have four layers of fabric hung on this rod in our bedroom over the sliding glass door. Our thermal drapes are three thicknesses and we added a blackout layer. They slide easily and feel secure. We used our own heavy duty screws and Molly’s.

The rod is good looking, although the color should be listed as brown and the straight part of the rod is 42 in, the sides that wrap around are 4 in longer on each side which makes the length 51 in across.
